About Flippin’ Awesome

I’ve been a flipper my whole life, but it took me 49 years to figure out how much I loved it and wanted to become more focused on finding those treasures. Full time flipping has taken over my garage, my house and three massive storage units. Go big or go home, right?

I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

I’m a serial entrepreneur and started my first business when I was 15,  designing and screen printing hoodies in Art class. I made enough to buy the biggest boom box in existence (that was cool in the 80’s) and so it began.

Since then, I’ve used flipping as a survival technique. My work was always seasonal so I had to find a way to make money in the off season.

I spent a winter flipping arcade games on eBay (my son loved having a variety of classic arcade games rotating through our living room) and a summer flipping cars on Craigslist. I’ve flipped everything from collectibles to houses and can’t figure out why it took me so long to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up.

So now, I’m full time finding treasures among trash. I love the consistent variety and need the activity (sitting behind a computer 12 hours a day makes your body old fast). So it’s game on and I love not knowing what the day will reveal.

My brother and son joined me for a while. Since then, my brother has gone on to what he loves and my son is still in and out of the business. So I forge forward, finding treasures and uniting them with their new owners. It’s a daily adventure filled with risk and reward and I’m very excited about finding one for you, too!
